You are bidding on a hand carved wall plaque of a 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment Crest.  Wood is yellow birch, stained with a dark walnut stain, with two coats of polyurethane, dimensions:7 1/4"x8 5/8"x3/4".  This is hand made (carved by retired Combat Engineer 78-98), may have slight deviations which add to the personality of the piece.
